Fishing in Nedre Långån in summer and winter

Fine fishing waters
Fish wherever you wish along the more than 30 km stretch of river. Nedre Långån is typical wilderness water that offers everything from varying rapids to calmer sections.
Magnificent surroundings
You can enjoy beautiful forests, vibrant fauna and remnants from the Stone Ages. There are no settlements along this section of the river which gives you a completely unique natural environment.
Large populations of fish
Nedre Långån is most famous for its fine grayling fishing, but also for brown trout. In the calmer sections you can also fish for pike, perch and whitefish, for example.

Fly fishing in summer
Fishing season: 1 June - 31 August
Nedre Långan is perfect for fly fishing, and you can fish here for hours without meeting another person. You need a fishing permit which you can buy here or via us.
Remember to only leave your footprints behind you in nature, at all times. All other rubbish, fishing lines and such must be thrown away at the designated places.
Go fly fishing or ice fishing in winter
Fishing season: 1 November - 14 April
Fishing is always possible whatever the weather! For example, during the winter season both fly fishing and ice fishing are doable, as long as the conditions are right. Contact us for information about fishing permits, or if you want tips about fishing in winter.
Regardless of whether it's winter or summer, all rubbish such as lines, bottles, cans and such must be thrown away at the designated places.
